AlwaysOn, South Africa’s largest WiFi service provider, has slashed its data package pricing just in time for the festive season.
From November 2017, AlwaysOn packages will cost as little as R39 for 500MB, up to R379 for 10GB.
With its ever-expanding network, the company’s efforts to decrease the cost of its data packages demonstrates its support to significantly drop data costs in South Africa.
“As economic pressure continues to mount on consumers, we will strive to drive down data costs as far as possible,” said Sean Nourse, Executive Consumer.
“We have always offered the best WiFi experience, and the growth that we have enjoyed over the past year is evidence that consumers want access to fast, affordable WiFi at key public venues.”
Users can expect connection speeds of up to 100Mbps at AlwaysOn super wifi locations, with further exciting offers from AlwaysOn to be made available just in time for the December holidays.
“During the holiday season, many people will be away from their usual internet access points, whether at home or at work, so will want to be able to access more affordable data at the thousands of Hotspots around the country, or on our roaming network of over a million Hotspots globally," said Nourse.
AlwaysOn’s public WiFi data now costs substantially less than data bundle rates offered by other providers.
