Currently disrupting the job recruitment space is BoostMe360. By streamlining employee-employer relations digitally, the site offers users an opportunity to navigate the job application process way more efficiently.
Business Developer Lead Angela Abbott details more.
How have SMMEs benefited from BoostMe360 and how do you measure this success?
We have seen a great incline in employers on the platform, particularly SMMEs, who are looking for faster, easier digital solutions to find the right candidates, creating efficiencies in their operations. We have also seen an exponential increase in job seekers joining the platform, completing their profiles and accessing the learning content. The feedback from employers has been extremely positive as they pioneer a new way of working, reducing time wasted on reading paper CVs and interviewing queues of people that do not match the job criteria. To date, we have 6 000 job seeker profiles and 150 employers. These numbers are growing daily.
How do jobseekers build relationships with employees through the site?
At this stage, the job seeker only interacts with an employer once they receive an interview or hire request. The current chat functionality is for handling questions or technical issues. The BoostMe360 platform is only available through the website www.boostme360.com, it is not an app at this stage.
With all the privacy issues arising from personal data sharing online, what measures are BoostMe360 putting in place to protect user information?
We have put all reasonable measures in place to secure personal information. It is important that users read the T&C's and Privacy Policies. It is also critical that users do not share their login information and make sure to log out of their profiles when not in use.
What’s next for BoostMe360?
At this stage, we are focusing on the South African market. However, it is our long-term strategy to expand into Africa and other global growth areas that experience similar challenges around youth unemployment and skills development.
